OfficeTelephones.ca reserves the right to revise these Terms and Conditions at any time, without notice. Posting of revised Terms and Conditions or amended policies shall constitute actual notice to customers.


Order Acceptance Policy

Your emailed receipt of an order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. Item availability and prices are subject to change at any time, without notice. OfficeTelephones.ca reserves the right to limit quantities, and to decline the acceptance of any order for any reason.

OfficeTelephones.ca reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order, without prior notice to you, to supply less than the quantity ordered of any item. All orders placed will be thoroughly researched before shipping, in accordance with the policies set by OfficeTelephones.ca´s Credit and Fraud Avoidance Department. OfficeTelephones.ca may require additional information and/or verification before accepting and processing any order.



While OfficeTelephones.ca makes every attempt to maintain accurate stock information, OfficeTelephones.ca is not responsible for the accuracy of inventory. In the event of a discrepancy regarding availability of a product, OfficeTelephones.ca has the right to fully refund a customer for the full purchase price, in lieu of timely delivery of merchandise.



Prices shown on OfficeTelephones.ca do not include taxes or shipping and handling fees, unless otherwise noted.

Prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise noted.

OfficeTelephones.ca makes every effort to bring the lowest prices possible to our clients however, due to conditions beyond our control, prices are subject to increase even after your order has been placed. If a price increase should occur during the processing of your order you will be notified and have the right to cancel your order at no charge.

Prices for certain government, corporate, and institutional customers may be set forth in a bid or other written agreement between the parties. Payment is due before shipment, unless credit terms have been arranged in advance with our credit department. In such case, payment terms shall be as set forth in the credit agreement.


Typographical / Pricing Errors

Our goal is to provide current and accurate information on our website however errors, misprints, and omissions sometimes occur. These include but are not limited to incorrect or incomplete prices, descriptions, specifications, photographs or illustrations. OfficeTelephones.ca makes no warranty that the content of the website is accurate or complete.

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, OfficeTelephones.ca shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed at the incorrect price without prior notification. OfficeTelephones.ca shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and the order is canceled, OfficeTelephones.ca shall immediately issue a credit to the credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

OfficeTelephones.ca is not obligated to complete any sale of products, services, or insurance based on errors, misprints, or omissions on our website.

OfficeTelephones.ca may at any time, with no prior notice or liability to any website users (a) correct any error, inaccuracy, or omission; (b) change the products and services available on the website, or the prices, feeds, descriptions, and specifications of such products; (c) limit quantities, promotional or otherwise available for sale.

Promotions available only while supplies last. Products on promotion must ship during the promotion period. OfficeTelephones.ca will not extend or honour any promotions that do not ship within the promotion period for any reason.


Order Cancellation

An order may be canceled only if that item is backordered and not available to ship. Any order submitted through this website, if in stock, will ship immediately and cannot be canceled.

OfficeTelephones.ca reserves the right to cancel an order or to issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) for merchandise that is advertised in error, that does not conform to advertised specifications, or was shipped in error.



OfficeTelephones.ca will accept orders for out-of-stock items. If the item you order is not in stock, it will be placed on backorder and shipped to you when it becomes available. On orders with backordered items, the total shipping charges are included with the first shipment. Shipping charges are non-refundable. A backorder may be canceled at ANY time prior to shipping.


Order Status

OfficeTelephones.ca will keep you informed of your order status via email. All tracking information will be emailed to you once your order has shipped. You may also acquire your order status and other live updates by logging into your account on our website.


Secured Transaction

Your online transactions are fully encrypted and secured with 128-bit encryption technology when you place orders at OfficeTelephones.ca.


Credit Cards

OfficeTelephones.ca accepts North American Visa and MasterCard only. We are unable to process international credit cards or Visa Debit cards. There is no surcharge for using your Visa or MasterCard to make a purchase. Please be sure to provide the exact billing address and telephone number as recorded with your credit card issuing bank. We will ship to an alternate address only if the address is on file with your credit card issuing bank. Incorrect information may cause a delay in the processing of your order.


Shipping Policy

When products are shipped to you by common carrier, OfficeTelephones.ca liability to you for breakage and/or non-delivery of the products by the common carrier to you will be limited by the limits of liability provided by the common carrier's terms and conditions of carriage. You may wish to purchase insurance from loss or breakage during carriage for full insurable value of the products you have ordered by making the appropriate requests when placing your order with OfficeTelephones.ca.

Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Shipping charges are calculated automatically, if the quoted charges are incorrect oradditional shipping charges should apply a representative will contact you to outline those charges. The customer and/or OfficeTelephones.ca have the right to cancel the order if not in agreement with additional shipping charges. An additional charge of $75.00 will be charged to your credit card for any shipment that is refused or undeliverable due to no fault of OfficeTelephones.ca or the courier. OfficeTelephones.ca reserves the right to review shipping.

Most in stock orders ship same day, although that does not guarantee that you will receive your order next day. Your order will not ship until after your order has been verified and processed by our Order Processing Department. Every effort is made to process all orders within 24 hours after receiving an order, but same-day shipping is not guaranteed.

* Orders received after 3:00 p.m. EST may not be shipped until the following day.

** Please keep in mind that our distribution centers do not process or ship orders on weekends and/or holidays.

** No deliveries will be made to Post Office Boxes (PO Box)


Damaged Products

All packages shipped from OfficeTelephones.ca are inspected prior to shipment. However, from time to time, damage during shipping may occur. Packages that are obviously damaged should be refused upon original delivery attempt. If the package is accepted, then any damage should be noted on the carrier delivery record prior to the driver leaving your premises. Any hidden or internal damage to any product must be reported to our Customer Service Department via email to admin@officetelephones.ca within the first 7 days of receipt to arrange for a carrier inspection and return of the damaged product(s). Please save the product, the shipping carton and all manufacturer packaging. Timely receipt of this information is necessary for OfficeTelephones.ca to file a damage claim. Failure to notify OfficeTelephones.ca of damage within this time period will be deemed an acceptance of the product, and standard return policies will apply.


Refused Orders

All refused orders (for reasons other than shipping damage) will be subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee. Shipping charges are not refundable if shipment is refused at the time of delivery. In addition, refused orders will be subject to additional shipping charges to cover the cost of returning the products to OfficeTelephones.ca.


Service & Support

All requests for technical service and support should be made directly to the manufacturer in accordance with THEIR terms and conditions. OfficeTelephones.ca makes no guarantees of product reliability or compatibility. All compatibility-related questions MUST be directed towards the product manufacturer.


Manufacturer's Warranty

Customer understands that OfficeTelephones.ca is not the manufacturer of the products purchased by Customer hereunder and the only warranties offered are those of the manufacturer, not us. In purchasing the products the customer is relying on the manufacturer's specifications only. They are not relying on any statements, specifications in brochures, photographs or other illustrations representing the products that may be provided by us. In connection with services, neither affiliates of OfficeTelephones.ca, nor third party service providers are our agents and we have no obligation or liability arising from any services performed by or any warranty, if any, made by, such service providers.

We warrant that we have good title to the hardware products we sell.

We do not warrant the performance or integrity of any Product, but merely pass through to the Customer whatever end-user warranty the manufacturers or software publishers provide with their respective products.

All returns and replacements must be handled directly through the manufacturer any time after the first 15 days of invoice. Manufacturer's warranties vary on each product. Extended warranties are available directly from select manufacturers. Manufacturer information is subject to change without notice. Please contact the manufacturer to obtain warranty information.


Return Policy

We offer returns on both new and refurbished products. All returns must be received within 15 days of the date of invoice with a proper Return Authorization number (RA #).

A minimum 15%restocking fee is charged on all new returns which have been opened. There is no restocking fee on refurbished or sealed product returns. The refund includes the total charge amount minus the shipping charge.

Returned products must include all original packaging, documentation, and accessories. Incomplete or defective returns will be refused. We will not accept any returns without an RA #. For any questions or to request a Return Authorization number simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.


Non-refundable Charges

All fees, including "shipping and handling", labor, installation services, insurance coverage fees, and rep fees are non-refundable.


Packaging of Returns

All returns, defective or otherwise, must be 100% complete, contain ALL original boxes and packing material, have original UPC codes on the manufacturer's packaging, contain all blank warranty cards, accessories, and documentation provided by the manufacturer. Incomplete returns, open or used products, or products not in new condition will be assessed additional restocking fees depending on condition and OfficeTelephones.ca’s ability to remarket the returned product. OfficeTelephones.ca will refuse any return of items missing UPC codes.

Returned merchandise must NOT be physically damaged, including damage due to improper installation or modifications.

This includes any physical alteration to the product, modifications not approved by the manufacturer, bent pins, etc.


Privacy Policy

At OfficeTelephones.ca, we value your privacy. Your personal information is for use by OfficeTelephones.ca staff only. This information is kept on a secure server to protect it from outside parties, and is used for the limited purpose of processing your order(s). Information may also be used for statistical purposes, to improve our web site and services to you, to administer our site, and to notify you of products or special offers that may be of interest to you. Your personal information will not be sold and will not leave OfficeTelephones.ca.

You may use the content of this site only for the purpose of shopping on this site or placing an order on this site and for no other purpose. No materials from this site may be copied, reproduced, modified, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted, or distributed in any form or by any means without OfficeTelephones.ca’s prior written permission. Limitation of Liability

OfficeTelephones.ca shall not be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials on this site or the performance of the products, even if OfficeTelephones.ca has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

All items sold through OfficeTelephones.ca are sold "as-is" or "with all faults." The entire risk as to the quality and performance of these items is with the buyer. Should any of these items prove defective, do not function, or function improperly in any way following their purchase, the buyer, and not the manufacturer, distributor, or OfficeTelephones.ca, assumes the entire cost of all necessary servicing or repair.



These Terms and Conditions shall be interpreted under and governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without giving effect to conflicts of law rules. Headings used in these Terms and Conditions are for convenience of reference only and are not intended to be part of, or to affect the meaning or interpretation of these Terms and Conditions.



All dispute, controversy, or claim against OfficeTelephones.ca arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions, their interpretation, or the breach, termination or validity thereof, or any related purchase shall be resolved exclusively and finally by arbitration administered by the Better Business Bureau (BBB).

The arbitration will be conducted before a single arbitrator, and will be limited solely to the dispute or controversy between you and OfficeTelephones.ca. The arbitration shall be held in any mutually agreed upon location in person, by telephone, or online. Any decision rendered in such arbitration proceedings will be final and binding on each of the parties, and judgment may be entered thereon in a court of competent jurisdiction.

The arbitrator shall not award either party special, exemplary, consequential, punitive, incidental or indirect damages, or attorney's fees and each party irrevocably waives any such right to recover such damages. The parties will share the costs of the arbitration, (including the arbitrator's fees, if any) in the proportion that the final award bears to the amount of the initial claim.



If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be illegal, invalid or un-enforceable, in whole or in part, the legality, validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not be affected or impaired. The Terms and Conditions stated herein are declared to be Severable.



Any litigation regarding this agreement or any transaction between a customer and OfficeTelephones.ca shall be brought to the provincial courts located in Ontario Canada and customer hereby agrees and submits to such jurisdiction and venue as proper.


Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between Customer and OfficeTelephones.ca relating to the sale of products and services on the Site. Customer consents to receiving electronic records, which may be provided via a Web browser or e-mail application connected to the Internet; individual consumers may withdraw consent to receiving electronic records or have the record provided in non-electronic form by contacting us at the address provided below.

Customer may issue a purchase order for administrative purposes only. Additional or different terms and conditions contained in any such purchase order will be null and void. Customer agrees that the Terms contained herein and in our invoice or other documentation will control. No course of prior dealings between the parties and no usage of trade will be relevant to determine the meaning of these Terms or any purchase order or invoice related thereto. This section may not apply if there is a written contract between Customer and OfficeTelephones.ca.
